Helmet video from Tuesday Night World Championships
Here is some video from last night’s Tuesday Night World Championships held at Donaldson Center in Greenville. Sorry there won’t be much text today. I simply don’t have time to peck it out.
Hope you enjoy the video. Next time I’ll try to make sure that I push it back on my helmet a little more. For the most part, it works well enough.
It was an unusual night because of all the wind. I will have to say that I felt much better. I still didn’t finish strong, but there did seem to be some improvement in my fitness.

You need to do a reverse angle video sometime so you can see what is going on behind you.
That would be pretty cool. When I capture video on charity rides, etc. I don’t wear it on my helmet so I can get those kinds of shots. At Donaldson I’m just trying to stay with the group and can’t do much with the camera. What would REALLY be neat would be to have two cameras – one on my helmet and one pointing back from my seat post.
Bummed I couldn’t make it last night. Looks like it was a good time. Speaking of rear cameras, check this out.

It’s really interesting to see yourself from others’ perspectives. Most of us don’t get to see what we look like while riding, much less while racing. Very cool, thanks for sharing.
That’s great footage….now i don’t have to hurt myself actually riding on Tuesday i can just watch the footage. thanks.
Awesome video! Glad you posted it:) You’re great w/ the camera! fyi – My kids think Randy M, is a kid as well! HA!
Hey, I finally saw a Donaldson race! Thanks for making it – the narration really helped.
