Yesterday it was announced that Hincapie Sportswear would be the official supplier of clothing and accessories for the BMC race squad. Of course, I couldn’t understand why George didn’t point to my blog in his tweet instead of Cyclingnews.com’s. I mean, who are those guys anyway?
Well, here is a piece of Hincapie news that won’t end up on Cyclingnews.com. It is that time of year for the Hincapie Sportswear Warehouse Sale. It is time to clear out the 2009 stuff (and a bit of 2008 as well) to make way for the boxes of 2010 inventory. Steve Baker and the crew over at the store want us to help them out.
Hopefully, I’ll be feeling up to getting over there tomorrow – Friday, October 2 from Noon until 7 p.m. Don’t look for me Saturday (from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) because I’ll be over at the POA Cycling Fall Extravaganza. I’ll be sure to leave you some stuff if you decided to go that second day.
So, what will be there for you? Baker tells us they’ll have “jerseys, shorts, jacket, accessories…even jeans and prototype samples of items we didn’t carry in the product line. You’ll find many different styles, colors and sizes for men and women.” Sound good? This sounds even better… “The discounts will be significant, so don’t miss this chance to find some great deals on some new Hincapie gear.”
Head on over and save some money. With the money you save, you can help me with my ride to Austin with the Challenge to Conquer Cancer crew. Today is October 1 and I said this would be the final day I would bug you about it. So, you’ll see no more countdown notices at the end of my blog posts. Thank you to all of you who have given.
